VMAR IT AB (“VMAR”, “us”, “we”) is committed to protecting your privacy and wants you to feel safe when you entrust us with your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have the right to know how and why VMAR processes your personal data and under what conditions you can exercise your rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This privacy policy is based on current data protection legislation and clarifies how we work to safeguard your rights and privacy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

2 Processing of personal data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2.1 How VMAR gets access to your personal data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

VMAR gains access to your personal data by you providing it to us when you contact us as a representative of a customer, supplier or similar. In addition, we gain access to your personal data through the use of our services such as our help desk or through our partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.2 On what basis does VMAR process your personal data?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

VMAR processes your personal data on the basis of an agreement or when we have a legitimate interest, for example in marketing. In addition, some personal data may be processed on the basis of your consent or on the basis of legal obligations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not process more personal data than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which we collect it and we always use the least privacy-sensitive data that we are able to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.3 Personal data that VMAR processes about you<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We process the personal data you provide to us when you contact us, when you visit our website and when you use our help desk. The personal data we process are mainly name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of incoming and outgoing e-mails. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.4 Disclosure of personal data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In individual cases, VMAR may disclose personal data to an external party, for example if there is a need for VMAR to share customer-related data with other companies within its own group or a need to share data with VMAR’s partners for joint customer projects, etc. Personal data will only be shared with third parties if there is a legitimate interest that justifies the disclosure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMAR has data processing agreements or other written agreements with the external companies that process personal data in the interest of VMAR or otherwise for a common purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMAR does not share personal data with countries outside the EU\/EEA and the servers VMAR uses to store data are located within the EU\/EEA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.5 We process your personal data in a secure manner<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

VMAR has procedures and working methods to ensure that your personal data is handled securely. Access to the personal data that VMAR processes is limited to the people who need the data to fulfill their duties. VMAR has a list of authorized personnel who have access to each system where personal data is stored and all actions are logged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our security systems are developed with your privacy in mind and provide a high level of protection against intrusion, destruction and other incidents that may put your privacy at risk. Our technical systems include requirements for two-step authentication and encryption of stored data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.6 Procedures for screening and deletion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your personal data will be processed for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which VMAR processes the personal data. Different personal data will therefore be stored with us for different lengths of time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The personal data you provide to us when you use our help-desk is stored for as long as you have an ongoing case with us and for three years thereafter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

3 Your rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

3.1 Right to information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When VMAR collects personal data about you, we will provide information about how we obtained the personal data, what we will use it for, what your rights are under data protection law and how you can exercise those rights. This is done in practice by reference to this policy. You will also be informed of who is responsible for the processing of your personal data and how you can contact us at VMAR if you have any questions or would like to make a request or inquiry regarding our processing of your personal data and\/or your rights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.2 Rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to our processing of your personal data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You have the right to request that we rectify or erase the personal data we process about you. You also have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted, or to object to such processing. In the event that you submit such a request, we will assess how VMAR can best meet your request. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.3 Register extracts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You have the right to request a register extract from VMAR in order to check whether we process personal data about you, and in such an extract to be informed of what personal data about you we process and how we process it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have questions about the processing of personal data or if you feel that these are incorrect, want to request correction, deletion, restriction or want to object to the processing, please contact us according to point 6 below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.4 Data Inspectorate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Swedish Data Protection Authority is the supervisory authority for the processing of personal data and data protection in Sweden. You have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data with the Data Protection Authority. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 Data controller and our assistants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

VMAR is the data controller, which means that we are responsible for how your personal data is processed and that your rights are safeguarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMAR may engage personal data processors in order to perform our services and run our business. On request, you can find out which data processors we use by contacting us in accordance with section 6 below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VMAR is responsible for ensuring that our data processors process personal data in accordance with this policy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
